Hi, I’m James Miller. I’m a conversational, British, male voice over artist, with a neutral, Midlands accent.

I’m going to assume you’ve arrived here because you’re working on a project that’s in need of a voice recording. I’ll make this easy for you, you can listen to my showreels here, and you can get in touch here.

A little about my voice over style.

Most people can’t really place my accent, but I’d describe it as neutral British, Midlands. I naturally speak with short vowel sounds more commonly heard in the North of England, but as I have a neutral sounding accent I am comfortable and can still sound natural with elongated vowels if it’s preferred.

I have a natural voicing style, conversational and sincere. I am versatile in reading scripts in different styles to match the intended mood, from bright, friendly & chatty, straight & professional, to smooth & streetwise.

My voice can be heard across the UK on a wide variety of media formats, most prominently on commercial radio and TV. I also have a wealth of experience working on IVR & on hold, documentaries & narration, e-learning, web video & presentations, corporate and in-store audio, and have voiced over 5,000 scripts.

I usually work from my own, broadcast quality studio in Nottingham, UK, but If you have a studio you’d rather I use, I am more than happy to travel around the country to voice in the studio of your choice.  If you want to find out more about my broadcast quality studio and the gear I use, head on over to the my studio page.

If you want to hang around a little longer, you can find out more about me and the work I do here.
